This alteration consists in division of the living room with a central partition into two separate rooms connected by a double-wing door (or sliding door).
Connection with a broad door is key from the perspective of preserving spatial comfort and from the perspective of preserving the multifunctionality of the newly created room.
This can serve as:
• separate living nook with a TV and folding bed
• work room with an ottoman
• parental bedroom
• guestroom/sleeping nook, etc.
