ABOUT THE PROJECT

Discover the art-deco spell

From a visual point of view, the design of the house follows the traditional artistic art-deco style, which significantly influenced architecture of the 1930s. It combines features of several artistic movements, particularly Cubism, Futurism and Art Nouveau, with the influence of geometry, simplicity and particularity. Art-deco represents nobleness and luxury which is why it used to be so popular with upper class. Nowadays, we can admire its timelessness inside renowned banking houses, hotels or private villas. No wonder that contemporary design and architectural trends have come back to art-deco again. If you are longing for above-standard housing based on the 21st century technologies but yet bearing the mark of old good times, Samova 12 is the right choice.

Quiet and smooth housing

In Sámová 12, 26 exclusive apartments with the disposition of two-bedroom flat up to four-bedroom flat and two non-residential units are being created. The interiors have been designed with the emphasis on maximum illumination. The core of each apartment forms a spacious hall that connects all its rooms, making an imaginary intersection of the room functions. A little garden is attached to each flat on the terrain level (2nd floor), apartments on the other floors have their own balconies. Moreover, the apartments on the 7th floor are equipped by terrace on the south and on the north side. The apartments in the inner part of the building have both a garden and a terrace. Two underground parking spaces and a spacious cellar fits each apartment.

Sámova 12 has seven above-ground floors and also one underground, which, together with the first above-ground floor, has been proposed for parking, cellars and technical facilities. The house is divided by a rectangular gallery. Its park layout enhances the residents´ living comfort. This division forms a main object copying the street line and a smaller, two-storey building with two maisonettes in the courtyard.

Two elevators and two stairs form a vertical communication axis. The advantage of this layout is the fact, that from each stair head you can enter only two apartments. It ranks Sámova 12 among Prague rarities and provides its residents with privacy.
